基质金属蛋白酶(matrix metalloproteinases,MMPs)是细胞外基质降解所必需的蛋白酶家族,在基质成分的合成和降解过程中起着重要作用。MMPs的作用可被其抑制剂(tissue Inhibitor of metalloproteinases,TIMPs)特异性抑制,在正常生理状态下,MMPs与TIMP协同产生,维持动态平衡,但当这种平衡被打破时基底膜和细胞外基质(extracelluar matix,ECM)的代谢发生异常,导致各种疾病并促进疾病恶化。现将MMPs和TIMPs与口腔扁平苔藓(oral lichen planus,OLP)及其他口腔疾病的关系作如下综述。 |

Abstract: |
Matrix metalloproteinases are necessary for the degradation of extracellular matrix protease family and play an important role in the synthesis and degradation of extracelluar matrix. The role of MMPs can be specific inhibited by Tissue Inhibitor of metalloproteinases. Under normal physiological conditions, MMPs and TIMP cooperative productions maintain dynamic balance, but when this balance is broken, the metabolism of basement membrane and extracelluar matrix are abnormal and lead to various diseases and promote disease progression. Now the relationships of MMPs and TIMPs with oral lichen planus and other oral disease are reviewed in this article. |
