摘要:
目的 探讨肌萎缩侧索硬化(amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,ALS)患者血清抗氧化酶的水平与性别、年龄、病程、发病部位、病情轻重之间的关系。方法 测定62例肌萎缩侧索硬化患者血清中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)的含量,根据性别、年龄、病程、起病部位、病情分级进行分组,统计各组间SOD、GSH-Px水平的差异。结果 病程较长组患者血清SOD、GSH-Px水平低于病程较短组患者,重度病情组患者血清SOD、GSH-Px水平低于轻中度病情组患者,差异有统计学意义, P<0.05。而不同性别、年龄、起病部位间血清SOD和GSH-Px水平无明显差异。结论 SOD和GSH-Px可作为ALS患者疗效评价、估计病情及判断预后的动态参考指标。

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the level of serum antioxidant enzymes in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)and to investigate the relationship of antioxidant enzymes level with sex, age, disease duration, onset and clinical severity. Methods The serum levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in 62 patients of ALS were measured and the clinical data were analyzed. The patients were divided into groups based on gender (male and female groups), age (older and younger groups), clinical severity (severe and mild-moderate groups), onset location (limb onset and bulbar onset groups), and disease duration (shorter and longer duration groups). Serum levels of SOD and GSH-Px were compared between groups. Results There were no significant differences in the SOD and GSH-Px levels between groups in the ALS patients based on age, gender and onset. The SOD and GSH-Px levels were higher in the patients with shorter duration and mild-moderate clinical severity than those with longer duration and severe clinical severity(P<0.05). Conclusion Serum levels of SOD and GSH-Px are closely related to clinical severity and duration, suggesting that oxidative stress may play an important role in the pathogenesis of ALS.
