摘要:

[摘要]　正畸能改善口颌系统，提高咀嚼效能，改善面型，因而受到青少年及成年人的追捧。接受正畸的成人在增多，正畸医生面临的牙周病患者也在增多，正畸的可行性和限制性受到牙周条件的影响。旧有的正畸观念视牙周病为禁忌证，因为牙周病患者牙周组织炎症使牙齿在移动的过程中易松动脱落，在正畸结束后易复发。随着对牙周病学的进一步理解和认识，人们逐渐摸清了牙周病与正畸之间的利弊关系。正畸技术和器材的更新，也使牙周病与正畸联系得更加紧密。

Abstract:

[Abstract] Masticatory function and dental aesthetics can be improved by orthodontic. Thus, orthodontic is popular among youths and adults. Old concept has been excluding patients with periodontal disease from orthodontic treatment because periodontal inflammation can cause the teeth easily fallen off during treatment and disease relapse after therapy. As modern studies renewed the concept of periodontal diseases, the relationship between orthodontic and periodontal disease has been gradually understood. Due to the development of orthodontic technology and instrument, periodontal diseases are no longer contraindications of orthodontics. This review discusses recent research progress on orthodontics in periodontal compromised patients.
