近期大量流行病学研究提示传统降糖药二甲双胍可降低2型糖尿病患者恶性肿瘤的发生率和死亡率,而体外细胞实验及体内动物模型实验多提示二甲双胍具有显著抑制肿瘤生长作用,其可能机制是通过调节胰岛素/IGF-1轴及AMPK通路发挥抗肿瘤作用,并通过诱导miRNA表达发挥抗肿瘤干细胞效应,提示二甲双胍为恶性肿瘤的防治提供了新的可能。 |

Large numebers of clinical epidemiological studies have recently reported the reduced incidence of cancer and cancer mortality rate in type 2 DM patients treated with metformin,a kind of traditional antidiabetic medicine.Studies have shown that metformin inhibits the growth of several types of cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo.Metformin possibly targets the insulin/IGF-1 axis and AMPK pathways,and regulates the dedifferentiation of CSCs by miRNA.These results indicate metformin may be used as a new therapy for anticancer. |
