Tubedown-1是一种新发现的N-末端乙酰转移酶,是酵母菌NAT-1 氨基末端乙酰转移酶的同源异型体,编码一个大约69 kD大小的有乙酰转移酶活性的蛋白质。目前认为tubedown-1可能参与脉管系统发育的调控,并抑制缺氧及糖尿病视网膜新生血管形成,有望为眼科血管性疾病的治疗提供新的方法。 |

[Abstract] Tubedown-1 is a novel N-terminal acetyltransferase. It is homologous to the yeasr NAT-1 N-terminal acetyltransferase and encodes a novel protein of 69 kD associated with an acetyltransferase activity. So far it is believed the downregulation of tubedown-1 may be involved in regulating vascular system development and inhibiting retinal neovascularization associated with hypoxia and diabetes. It may become a new therapy for ocular diseases. |
