Abstract:
[Objective] To investigate the value of serum CK-MB mass and CK-MB activity levels in the early diagnosis of the patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and extracranial disease. [Methods] CK-MB mass, CK-MB activity in serum of 30 cases with AMI, 30 cases with extracranial disease and 30 normal senior subjects were determined. [Results] (1) The CK-MB mass(29.83±17.79), CK-MB activity(55.46±21.95) levels in AMI patients were significantly higher than those in normal group (P<0.01). (2) In the extracranial disease group, the concentrations of CK-MB mass(1.73±0.96) was within the referential ranges and if compared to the control group, there was no significant difference (P>0.01). But CK-MB activity(31.73±20.17) was higher than referential ranges with significant difference (P<0.01). [Conclusion] There are both well sensitiveity to AMI on CK-MB mass and CK-MB activity while CK-MB mass has better stability than CK-MB activity to different conditions.
