Abstract:
[Objective] This investigation is to explore the relationship between level of inflammatory factors with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and the severity of coronary atherosclerosis. [Methods] Sixty-four patients with chest pain in hospital diagnosed as ACS, were involved in this study. According to different clinical manifestations and coronary angiography (CAG), they were divided into two groups. There were 30 healthy controls in this study. Fasting plasma adiponectin (APN), hypersensitive c-reaction protein (H-CRP), tumor necrosis factor (TNF) were assayed by radioimmunoassay, electro-chemiluminescence and ELISA. [Results] Level of APN, H-CRP, TNF in two disease groups were significant difference than those in the control group, P<0.01. Plasma concentrations of adiponectin in disease group were significantly lower than those in the control group, P<0.01. [Conclusions] Plasma level of APN, H-CRP and TNF may be related to the development of ACS and may be an important risk factor.
