| Homeobox genes play a major role in embryonic development and cell differentiation. Especially ,Hox genes give identity of developing body segment and embryonic anteroposterior patterning in vertebrates. This review discusses estrogen and progestogen regulation of Hox and its impact on developing and adult tissues. |
