Abstract:
[Objective] To investigate the relationship between essential hypertension with elevated uric acid and levels of C-reactive protein (CRP). [Methods] By measured 50 essential hypertension patients and 50 healthy people with the level of CRP and the other biochemistry tests. Compared the relationship of CRP among essential hypertension with elevated uric acid, normal uric acid and healthy people. Results :The level of CRP(6.31±2.60)mg/L of essential hypertension patients with elevated uric acid and the level of CRP(2.80±1.95)mg/L of the normal uric ones are higher than that of the healthy people (1.24±1.26) mg/L, both of them have remarkable differences (P< 0.01 ); The level of CRP of essential hypertension patients with elevated uric acid is higher than the level of CRP of the normal uric acid ones, both of them have remarkable differences (P< 0.01); [Conclusions] Serum CRP level of essential hypertension patients is higher than that of healthy people, serum uric acid level is positive associated with CRP level (r=0.622,P<0.01).
