| Abstract: |
| Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been widely used to ameliorate the symptoms of peri-menopausal period. But it was found recently that the incidence of cardiovascular disease was increasing in wemon with HRT for a long period. At the same time the incidence of hormone dependent neoplasms was increasing too. Through systematic review of literature, the authors suggest that the application of hormone replacement therapy should be cautious. |
