Abstract: |
Objective To study the clinical effect of microecologics on infants′ eczema. Methods Totally 180 eczema patients were randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group with 90 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with routine symptomatic treatment and patients in the experimental group were treated with routine symptomatic treatment plus combination of four living bacterium tablet. The microecologics were taken orally, one tablet a time and twice a day for one month. The effective rate of the two therapeutic methods was analyzed and the levels of IL-4, IL-10, IgE, IFN-γ and Th1/Th2 ratio in blood were examined. The relapse rate of the two groups in the three months follow up visit was analyzed. Results Effective rate in the experimental group was 91.1%, much higher than the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05). Levels of IL-4, IL-10 and IgE in blood serum decreased significantly in the experimental group when compared to the control group (P<0.05) and level of IFN-γ and Th1/Th2 ratio increased significantly in the experimental group when compared to the control (P<0.05). The 3 months eczema relapse rate was 26.7% in the experimental group and 68.9% in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant. Conclusion Applying microecologics as an adjuvant therapy for eczema treatment could increase the effective rate and decrease the 3 months relapse rate, meanwhile enhance the self-stabilization of immune system. Microecologics has very wide popularization and application prospects for eczema treatment. |
