Abstract:
[Objective] To investigate the anti-tumor effect ofpolysaccharides from the Undaria Pinnatifida on tumor cell strain and Hca-f mice and the mechanism of anti-tumor activities was discussed at the same time .[Methods] MTT were applied to study the anti-tumor activities of UPPS to HepG-2 cell strain in vitro ;The anti-tumor activities were observed in vivo by testing the tumor weight and the weight of spleen of Hca-f mice.[Results] The anti-tumor activities of UPPS to HepG-2 cell strain in vitro were significantly higher than the negative controlgroup (P<0.01)and 15、10 mg/mL of UPPS inhibiting rate were 57.20%,51.79%,which were similar to 5-FU . The anti-tumor activities of UPPS in vivo were significantly higher than the negative control group and 400,200 mg/kg of UPPS inhibitingrate to Hca-f mice were 69.13%,42.11%,which were similar to 5-FU and showed potent anti-tumor activities.[Conclusions] UPPS show potent anti-tumor activities to HepG-2 cell strain and Hca-f mice.
